PLO appreciates Saudi Arabia's support for Palestinian people

Monday 22 Feb 2016 - 10:42 Makkah mean time-13-5-1437 PLO Secretary General Dr Erekat (Image from Internet) Ramallah (IINA) – Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Dr Saeb Erekat appreciated the honorable positions supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. This came in a press statement made by Dr Erekat following the meeting held between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and US Secretary of State John Kerry in the Jordanian capital of Amman on Sunday. Kerry told President Abbas that the Palestinian cause was at the top of the agenda during his meetings with King Salman, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir and other senior Saudi officials, Erekat said. The PLO Secretary General stressed that Palestine supports all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to defeat the forces of extremism, terrorism and oppression. AB/IINA
