2,221 people revert to Islam by Dar Al Ber Society

Dubai, (IINA) - The Dar Al Ber Society (Dabs) has helped 2,221 people from 46 different nationalities converted to Islam at its Islamic Information Centre in 2015 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, according to media reports.
Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said: "Of the 2,221 fresh Muslims, 494 embraced Islam through an all new service called: 'Have you helped anyone convert to Islam?' while 1,350 others gave Shahada at the centre with the help of staff scholars and preachers."
Al Mazrouei pointed out that the Centre spares no effort to spread the true and merciful message of Islam among all members of the society. "The centre ran 3,772 lectures and lessons all over the year."
The Islamic Information Centre also distributed 1.58 million scientific and religious brochures, leaflets and CDs to foreign communities last year.
Meanwhile, the centre last year received Dh 502,247 as donations from philanthropists in the UAE. The centre was also active on social media as well with 2,011 tweets and 1,167 posts on Facebook in 2015, focusing on the merciful teachings and values of Islam, along with number national issues.
