OIC chief to attend opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal

Wednesday 05 Aug 2015 - 09:42 Makkah mean time-20-10-1436 Jeddah, (IINA) - The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani will travel to Egypt on Wednesday to attend the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal. According to a statement issued by the OIC, Madani will attend the opening ceremony of the canal to be held on Thursday, in response to the invitation he had received from the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
