Bahrain launches awareness campaigns for pilgrims

Manama, (IINA) – The Health Promotion Committee (HPC) of the Ministry of Health in Bahrain is launching in these days awareness campaigns for Bahraini pilgrims in all health centers across the country.
The ministry noted in a statement that during this month the HPC will give instructions to the visitors who are intending to visit the nursing department when they want to take their vaccinations before they head to Makkah.
in addition to that, the HPC focused on the importance of taking the necessary precautions while traveling, of which include masks and medicines among other protective regulations like sterilizing hands.
In the same context, the HPC called the pilgrims patients of diabetes, Hypertension and heart diseases to take their medication with them when they want to go to Makkah, warning at the same time patients with unstable chronic diseases and pregnant women to postpone the pilgrimage this year in order to avoid any complications that may cause a endanger to their lives.
