Jeddah, (IINA) - The General Secretariat of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that occurred in front of the headquarters of the Italian Consulate in Cairo, killing one person and injuring others.
The OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani expressed his denouncement of this criminal act, stressing the solidarity and support of the OIC with the Egyptian government in its confrontation of terrorism.
In addition, he expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the victim and his wishes for the quick recovery of the injured.
The Secretary General reiterated the firm and principled position of the OIC in condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations; and the need to confront all the dimensions of this phenomenon.
