Istanbul (IINA) – Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on Tuesday signed the new Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the sidelines of the preparatory meeting of the 13th session of the Islamic Summit Conference, being held in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The signing ceremony of the Charter was attended by OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani, who praised the support received by the organization from Jordan's King Abdullah II.
It is to be noted that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a founding member of OIC.
