East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (IINA) – The Muslim Student Association (MSA) at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, USA will host a series of events from March 21 to 24, during Islamic Awareness Week, The Pike County Courier online news reported.
“We want to celebrate Islamic culture and remove any misconceptions or stereotypes surrounding our community,” Binetou Fall, a senior majoring in business management who is also president of MSA, said. “This is a great opportunity for others to learn about another culture it’s something that I hope impacts many people.”
Events for the week include learning about modern issues facing Muslims in America and a discussion on the religion of Islam. The events are free of charge.
