Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian King Abdullah held on Tuesday separate telephone conversations with leaders of Egypt, Tunisia and Mauritania.
During the talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic approach, in order to preserve regional and global security and stability, Petra reported.
The two leaders also discussed Jordanian-Egyptian ties and agreed to maintain bilateral coordination and consultation on various regional and international issues.
The King's talks with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi figured the depth of Jordanian-Tunisian ties in various fields and their desire to further boost cooperation.
The two leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments, including efforts being made to combat terrorism and terrorist gangs within a holistic approach.
Also, Abdullah discussed with Mauritania's President Mohammed Ould Abdel Aziz, regional and international efforts to counter terrorism and extremism, which threaten global stability and security.
They also talked about the developments in the Middle East and ways to address the major crises in the region.
