Dubai Ruler honors winners of Creative Governments Innovations Award

Dubai, (IINA) - UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum has honored on Wednesday the winners of the ‘Creative Governments Innovations Award’, one of the main events accompanying the World Government Summit, WAM reported. 
Sheikh Mohammed honored the representatives of Mozambique and Tanzania, which are conducting a project to utilize rats to detect explosives and diseases in cooperation with the Belgian non-governmental organization APOPO.
Sheikh Mohammed said: ''Creative innovations are one of the most important ways to improve services and make great leaps in them".
"We wish to make a positive impact by highlighting such experiments and displaying them before all governments, and the World Government Summit platform is the best as its main mission is to explore the future".
The Creative Government Innovation Award aims to highlight successful and innovative government experiences and represent an opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise while empowering officials to try innovative and technical equipment that would contribute to preparing for the future and manage their governments in accordance with their huge budgets.
