Riyadh, (IINA) - Saudi and Egyptian leaders agreed here on Wednesday to further improve their ties at the first Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council meeting, Arab News reported.
This came during Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail Mohammed at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.
Decisions taken at the meeting included the setting up of working groups to review draft initiatives and agreements, memorandum of understanding and executive programs emanating from the Cairo Declaration. The two sides agreed to hold the second meeting of the council in Egypt.
According to SPA, the meeting stems from a pact agreed upon last month by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which is part of the implementation of the Cairo Declaration.
