Manama, (IINA) - Bahrain will launch a new fleet of high-tech police cars and motorcycles in accordance with the directives of Interior Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid Al-Khalifa to carry out a comprehensive strategy to modernize all security agencies, BNA reported.
"The modernization of the fleet meets the soaring number of cars, driving licenses, and the road network development", said General Directorate of Traffic Sheikh Nasser Al-Khalifa.
He said that the new value-added fleet of high-tech cop cars would enable the general directorate to better control the movement of vehicles and enhance traffic safety.
