5 shot dead at Jordan's police training center

Tuesday 10 Nov 2015 - 10:54 Makkah mean time-28-1-1437 Image from Internet Amman (IINA) – Jordanian State Minister for Media Affairs and the government spokesman Mohammad Momani said three contractors with the Public Security Department, including two Americans and a South African as well as two Jordanians were killed in a shooting incident at the police training center near Amman on Monday. Momani told Petra News Agency that a Jordanian policeman shot dead two U.S. contractors, a South African trainer and two Jordanians at the center. He said police forces dealt with the incident and killed the attacker, adding that an investigation is underway to determine the motives behind the crime, in which three other Jordanians and two U.S. trainers were wounded.
