Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian-Israeli ties will be affected if the ongoing Israeli provocations at Al Aqsa Mosque continue, Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said in an interview with the London-based Al-Hayat daily newspaper.
He noted that Jordan keeps all legal and diplomatic options open to deal with the Israeli assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque, Petra reported.
Ensour, in an interview, held Israel as the occupation power and in accordance with the international law responsible for maintaining the status quo in the occupied Jerusalem, where the condition in Al-Aqsa Mosque is what it was prior to 2000 and not the situation that Israel is trying to impose in violation of international humanitarian law.
On Syria, Ensour reiterated Jordan's stance which calls for a political solution to the crisis there, since it is the only way out of the crisis in the neighboring country.
