Mosque bombing: Kuwait court sentences seven to death

Tuesday 15 Sep 2015 - 12:53 Makkah mean time-2-12-1436 (Image from Gulfbusiness) Kuwait city, (IINA) - The Criminal Court in Kuwait on Tuesday sentenced seven people to death over the suicide bombing of Imam Al Sadiq Mosque, which left at least 27 people killed, according to media reports. The court also sentenced eight defendants to sentences ranging between 2 and 15 years while acquitted 14 others. The court trials started last month following a thorough investigation into the bombing in June that killed 27 people and wounded 226 at the mosque in the capital Kuwait City. SM/IINA
