Makkah (IINA) – Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah Al-Turki received here on Thursday Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adam, governor of south state of Somalia and the special advisor to Somali President.
They reviewed, during the meeting, the latest developments on the Islamic, African and international arenas, as well as the efforts to establish peace in Somalia, which is suffering from the scourge of internal wars and famines that claimed the lives of many civilians.
For his part, the governor of south state of Somalia hailed the Islamic and humanitarian work provided by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his government for the Muslims of the world in general and the people of Somalia in particular.
