Ramallah, (IINA) - Israeli occupation authorities handed over a number of Jerusalemites demolition orders for their houses allegedly for "security reasons", Palestinian sources said.
The Committee for Popular Resistance Against the Wall and Settlements said in a statement that the civil administration personnel, escorted by the Israeli military broke into a Bedouin community residing east of Jerusalem and handed over two notifications to the families, according to media reports.
The families, who are of dependent on livestock, will be forced to leave the area within a month of the notification.
The second notice compels barrack owners to halt construction in the area.
The notifications are specifically targeting migrating nomadic tribes of Jerusalem to bring them together in areas not suitable for human habitation in Abu Dis village, east of Jerusalem, the Committee added.
