IIROSA carries out more than 500 eye surgeries in Morocco

Monday 28 Dec 2015 - 13:04 Makkah mean time-17-3-1437 Jeddah, (IINA) - Secretary-General of the International Islamic Relief Organization Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) Ihsan Tayeb said that the organization has conducted 529 eye surgeries in various towns and villages in Morocco, WAM reported. The surgeries included removal of cataracts, implanting lenses, eye tests and distribution of glasses to a large numbers of patients. The organization, which is an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL) and an observer at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), stated that the operations took about a week and that the medical team was able to perform more than 100 operations a day.
