Jerusalem (IINA) – The Israeli occupation authorities at dawn Sunday released Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan, who went on a hunger strike for 56 days, in protest against his administrative detention.
Sheikh Adnan is slated to hold, later in the day, a press conference in front of his house in the West Bank town of Arraba, with the participation of institutions concerned with Palestinian prisoners' affairs.
On June 28, Khader Adnan agreed to end a 56-day hunger strike after a deal was reached with the Israeli authorities to release him on July 12.
