Three Somali soldiers killed in Mogadishu roadside bomb

Mogadishu (IINA) – Three Somali soldiers were killed and others wounded on Tuesday as a roadside bomb was detonated while their military vehicle was passing the southwest outskirts of the capital Mogadishu.
An explosive device in the area of Hawaabdi, about 17 kilometers southwest of Mogadishu, exploded when a military convoy passed over it, killing three soldiers and wounding several others, according to a media source.
The bodies of the soldiers, and the injured were rushed to a hospital in Mogadishu, the source added.
The Al-Qaeda-linked militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack, vowing to carry out more similar attacks.
