Paris (IINA) - A man who lost his wife during Friday's attacks on Paris wrote a poignant message that caused an uproar on the social media, BBC reported.
The widower and the father of a 17-month-old toddler, Antoine Leiris, said that he will not give the terrorists the gift of hatred, nor will he give into fear or cast a mistrustful eye on his fellow citizens because that would mean that he sacrificed his freedom.
He wrote: "We are only two, my son and I, but we are more powerful than all the world's armies. In any case, I have no more time to waste on you".
He explains that although they took the love of his life and mother of his son, he and his 17-month-old child would continue to live free and without hatred.
It is noteworthy that the letter was originally written in French on Monday as a Facebook post, and it was shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media.
