UAE launches nutritional supplements campaign for displaced Syrian children in Beirut

Beirut, (IINA) - In line with the directives of the UAE leadership, the UAE embassy in Beirut launched a campaign to provide nutritional supplements to the children of displaced Syrians in Lebanon, WAM reported.
Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Foundation said that it will be funding the campaign and that it aims to distribute nutritional supplements to 7,000 children in Akkar and Wadi Khalid. The foundation will collaborate with the Relief and Humanitarian Aid Agency at Dar Al-Fatwa to initiate distribution work.
UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Al-Shamsi stated that the UAE will continue to provide humanitarian aid in order to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.
