Sixth edition of Qatar international college fair to kick off today

Doha, (IINA) - Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of Supreme Education Council (SEC) Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi will inaugurate Monday the 6th edition of Qatar international college fair at the Qatar National Convention Center under the theme: "Towards diversity to stimulate creativity and innovation," Qatar New Agency (QNA) reported.
The three-day exhibition will witness workshops and lectures to raise awareness of students on available opportunities in local or international universities. Senior government officials, SEC officials, ministers, ambassadors, schools principals, teachers, students, academics and university directors, deans of colleges as well as media representatives will take part in the event.
Representatives of 113 local and international universities, cultural attaches' offices of embassies accredited to Qatar, the ministry of administrative development, and local agencies concerned with scholarships will participate in the event.
It is noteworthy that it’s for the first time, a number of prestigious universities and institutions from Turkey, Spain and Malaysia taking part in the event as well as Qatar University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Education City, community colleges, police college, Ahmed Bin Mohammed military college and Joaan Bin Jassim joint command and staff college.
Also, Qatar aeronautical colleges, the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar, Doha institute for graduate studies, in addition to a number of educational institutions involved in the provision of international exams such as TOEFL and IELTS .(QNA)
