Manama, (IINA) - Bahraini Minister of Public Information Isa Al-Hammadi denied on Thursday the rumors which said that Bahrain intends to buy an Israeli missile defense system.
During an interview with the Bahraini Al-Wasat Newspaper , Al-Hammadi said that what the channel "Fox News" reported about Bahraini plans on buying the system was not true.
He also denied the existence of any talks with the Israeli authorities, noting that unlike what Fox News said, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is considering buying a US anti-missile defense system and not an Israeli one.
