Bahrain, Indonesia agree to boost political consultation

New York (IINA) – Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa signed with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Lestari Marsudi a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost political consultation on the sidelines of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The agreement aims to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and to exchange views on regional and global topics, as well as promoting cooperation between the two nations at the United Nations, the international and regional organizations.
Shaikh Khalid expressed his satisfaction over the advanced levels of bilateral ties between Bahrain and Indonesia, noting that this MoU will bolster those relations to new horizons in all areas, cement the mutual cooperation and achieve positive results for the best interestd of both parties.
