Morocco's unemployment rate drops from 9.3% to 8.7%

Thursday 06 Aug 2015 - 12:25 Makkah mean time-21-10-1436 Rabat, (IINA) - Morocco's unemployment rate dropped to 8.7 percent during the first quarter of 2015 from 9.3 percent during the same period last year. Morocco's High Planning Commission (HCP) noted that the data, which are published by the HCP on Wednesday, shows that  the unemployment rate is 13.4 percent in urban areas and 3.3 percent in rural areas. The HCP recorded that the unemployment phenomenon remains more prevalent among young graduates, with the rate stood at 20.5 percent. SM/IINA
