Cairo, (IINA) - Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jarwan has condemned the disgraceful kidnapping of a number of Qatari nationals in Iraq by an unknown party, WAM reported.
Al-Jarwan urged the Iraqi government to take all necessary action to ensure the safety of the kidnaped Qataris and to return them home as soon as possible.
He stressed his rejection of this heinous terrorist act, which is in violation of international law, human rights and the principles of unity among Arab and Muslims.
He expressed support for the Qatari and Iraqi efforts to release the kidnapped victims, calling on the Iraqi government to redouble its effort to guarantee their safe return to their country.
