Bahraini former Shura councilor joins international network

Manama, (IINA) - Bahraini former member of the Shura Council Dr. Ayesha Mubarak has been designated by Eisenhower Foundation (EF) a member of the foundation's international network for four years in recognition of her remarkable role in supporting and developing young leaderships locally and in several countries around the world in various disciplines, BNA reported on Monday.
Dr. Mubarak is the first Bahraini woman selected by this network to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain.
One of America's leading foundations which provide excellent fellowship programmes and prepare young leaderships around the globe, the EF's board of trustees is chaired by former Secretary of State General Collin Powell.
Bahraini Mubarak who had won the foundation's fellowship in 2009 aspires to leave an impressive Bahraini thumbprints during her membership in this prestigious foundation.
