Ramallah, (IINA) - Around 250 Palestinian prisoners started boycotting food in solidarity with the detained prisoner Mohammad Allan who has been staging hunger strike for two months, according to the Organization of Palestinian Prisoners Affairs (OPPA).
The prisoners are demanding an immediate termination of Israel's administrative detention policy, BBC reported.
OPPA's official spokesman Hasan Abd Rabbuh said that the prisoners are representing various Palestinian factions. Their act was in the backdrop of an Israeli court sitting to review a release request of Allan, who was arrested in November.
AFP reported that Allan threatened to continue his hunger strike if his case was not decided by the court within the next 24 hours.
