UN chief condemns Riyadh’s suicide bomb attack

Friday 17 Jul 2015 - 14:10 Makkah mean time-1-10-1436 UN chief Ban Ki-moon (Google image) New York (IINA) – UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the Thursday's car bomb attack that targeted a security checkpoint in the Saudi capital Riyadh, killing the driver and injuring two policemen. Ban was particularly saddened and angered by the fact that the attack came ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. He also called for the persons responsible for the attack to be brought to justice. The Secretary General wished speedy recovery to the injured and expressed his sympathies to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia. AB/IINA
