Countries, Muslim minorities announced Friday first day of Eid al Fitr

Sydney (IINA) - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Djibouti, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand Crimea, Ukraine and Australia, announced on Thursday that Friday 17th July, will be the first day of Eid al Fitr al Mubarak.
The Grand Mufti of Australia said in a statement obtained by the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), “I would like to take the opportunity of the current blessed days of Ramadan to send a message of peace to all Australian Muslims and implore all Muslims towards unity and righteousness.”
Also, Islamic Council of Victoria also announced that Friday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
For his part President of the Council Sheikh Issa Moussa congratulated the community Muslims and invited them to contact the state mosques to see further details regarding the Eid prayer.
In Turkey, Turkish airlines congratulated Muslims by decorating its flights wiht phrase "Eid Mubarak" wirtten in Arabic and English.
In Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian Royal Seals holder announced also on Thursday that the Eid al-Fitr will be on Friday in Malaysia.
This comes as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Ghana announced that Saturday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
