London, (IINA) - British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond on Saturday condemned the missile attack on Saudi Arabia near the city of Khamis Mushait, according to Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Speaking after the Scud missile attack near to the city on Saturday morning, Hammond said:
I condemn this morning’s Scud missile attack that was fired from across the border of Yemen and endorse Saudi Arabia’s right to take action to defend itself from such attacks.
The UK continues to offer its full diplomatic support to the UN’s efforts to begin political consultations in Geneva as soon as possible, as well as its call for participants to engage in good faith and without pre-conditions.
