Tunisia, (IINA) - Tunisian Defense Ministry said during a press briefing on Saturday that Tunisia is planning to hold a naval drill with the participation of a number of countries including Egypt, Algeria, Greece, Italy, Turkey and the US would participate in the drill, Todays Zaman reported.
Defense Ministry spokesperson Belhassen Oueslati said that "the drill aims to help naval teams improve their naval control and combat illegal activities in the sea,” adding that the Tunisian army had managed to locate 61 terrorist training camps between 2014 and 2015. Oueslati refrained from elaborating on the location of these camps but did add that they included houses and hideouts dug by the terrorists.
