Rabat, (IINA) - The Union of Moroccan Inventors (UIM) has become a permanent member of the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA), Morocco World News reported.
Morocco was chosen besides Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Tunisia and Pakistan during the latest meeting of the Executive Committee of the IFIA.
IFIA enjoys observer status at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as well as observer status (Special Category – Technology) at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).  IFIA is also a member of the Standing Advisory Committee before the European Patent Office (SACEPO).
Founded in 1968, IFIA is a worldwide nongovernmental organization of inventors’ associations and other inventors’ organizations aiming to connect, to support inventors internationally and to represent their common interests.
Its mission is to disseminate knowledge of the innovation development and to promote inventive and entrepreneurial spirit.
