MWL chief opens 'Islam, Message of Peace and Tolerance' Seminar in Cambodia

MWL chief Abdullah Al-Turki



Phnom Penh (IINA) – Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki, currently on a visit to Cambodia, opened here on Saturday the activities of “Islam, Message of Peace and Tolerance” seminar, in the presence of Minister of Religions and Cults in Cambodia Min Khin.

The seminar is organized by the MWL in collaborating with the Islamic Association in Cambodia.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the seminar, Chairman of the Islamic Association Mohammed bin Marwan extended thanks to the Government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for its continued support for Muslims around the world. He also expressed appreciation to the MWL for holding this seminar for its importance to Muslims in the Indochina Peninsula states in building bridges of coexistence among different groups.

For his part, Dr. Al-Turki delivered a speech in which he stressed that the message of Islam is a universal message addressed to all of mankind, and seeks to educate all human beings on peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
