President of Benin to visit Algeria on Monday

Monday 02 Feb 2015 - 11:29 Makkah mean time-13-4-1436 Algiers (IINA) – Benin President Thomas Boni Yayi will start on Monday a three-day visit to Algeria, at the invitation of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Algeria Press Service (APS) reported. The visit is expected to give a fresh impetus to cooperation and exchanges between the two countries, which have a long tradition of friendship and collaboration, according a statement issued Sunday by the presidency of the Republic. The president of Benin and the delegation accompanying him will meet business managers and visit economic facilities, the statement said. The discussions between President Bouteflika and President Boni will be an opportunity for the two countries to "boost consultation on issues of mutual interest, as well as issues relating to the Africa continent," the statement added.
