Monday 01 Dec 2014 - 11:39 Makkah mean time-9-2-1436 Manama (IINA) – Bahrain’s Minister of State for Communications Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa unveiled a trend to reduce international call rates between the Gulf States.
The minister pointed out, in a statement to the Bahraini newspaper "Al-Wasat" published on Sunday, that one of the telecom companies will announce a reduction in international call rates among the Gulf States, adding that other companies will follow in the coming weeks after concluding the necessary agreements.
“Given the need for these agreements, we will start reducing international call rates between Bahrain and three of the Gulf States, then the rest will gradually join,” Sheikh Fawaz said, noting that there are other agreements to be announced later."
