Saturday 21 Feb 2015 - 19:38 Makkah mean time-2-5-1436  Jordanian PM Ensour receives head of Kuwait Red Crescent Al Sayer Pic from (Petra) Amman, (IINA) – Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour received on Thursday in his office the head of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society Hilal Musaed Al Sayer and reviewed the aid and humanitarian programs being implemented by the society to serve the Syrian refugees in the Kingdom, Petra news reported.
The premier during the meeting underlined the depth of ties between Jordan and Kuwait, praising the Gulf Arab state over its supportive stands towards Jordan.
He noted in this regard that Kuwait was among the first countries that stood beside Jordan to overcome the economic challenges that passed by the country.
Ensour also listened to the explanation of Hilal Musaed regarding the programs, humanitarian assistance and relief efforts provided by the Association of Syrian refugees in Jordan.
In return, Ensour spoke about the extra burdens being borne by Jordan as a result of hosting hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees.
