Bahrain's Embassy in Japan receives voters

Tokyo (IINA) – Casting of votes began at the Kingdom of Bahrain's embassy in Japan in the 2014 parliamentary and municipal elections, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Bahrain embassy in Tokyo was the first diplomatic mission to open its doors for voters. Bahraini citizens residing there began to cast their votes at the ballot-boxes in the embassy, launching the elections abroad which will take place inside Bahrain on November 22.

According to the polling regulations, Bahraini citizens residing in Japan can cast their votes from 9:00 am until 5:00 Japan's local time. Electors who had not registered their names abroad will be allowed to participate in the same way as those who had registered within the previously announced duration.
