UAE to participate in Moroccan Agriculture Fair

Emirati Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Abu Dhabi, (IINA) - The participation of UAE as a guest of honor in the Moroccan International Agriculture Fair (MIAF), demonstrates “the robust and pure ties” between the two countries, said Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, UAE's deputy prime minister and minister of presidential affairs, Morocco World News reported.
The Moroccan International Agriculture Fair, which will be held from April 26 to May 1 in Meknes, with the theme of “Resilient and sustainable agriculture.”
Sheikh Mansour, who is also chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, said the two countries have enjoyed a long partnership and bilateral cooperation programs, which contributed to the development of their economic ties, according to Emirates news agency (WAM). The participation of UAE in Morocco’s International Agriculture Fair further consolidates the friendly and cooperation relations between the two countries, the ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said in a statement.
Agricultural cooperation between Morocco and UAE has witnessed a turning point in the last few years thanks to the growth of trade relations and investment in the agriculture sector.
Since its inception in 2006, SIAM has been an opportunity to establish contact between various stakeholders in terms of expertise, knowledge and experience and to promote transfer of new technologies.
