Washington (IINA) – U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Saudi Arabia on April 21, for a summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the White House announced on Wednesday, BBC reported.
It added that Obama's visit to Saudi Arabia is part of a tour including the United Kingdom and Germany. In the UK, he will meet with Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron.
The visit, which is likely to be Obama’s last before his term in office ends in January, comes weeks ahead of a referendum on whether Britain should remain within the European Union bloc.
It is noteworthy that the White House has expressed support for UK to stay inside the EU bloc.
