Pakistani president decorates ISESCO chief with 'Star of Excellence'

Islamabad (IINA) – President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday decorated Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) – one of the country's highest honors and civilian awards.
The award was granted in recognition of Dr Altwaijri's efforts to promote the relations of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and ISESCO, in addition to his contribution towards the development of joint Islamic action.
The decoration was awarded during an investiture ceremony held at the presidential palace in the capital Islamabad.
