OIC condemns terrorist attack in Baghdad

Tuesday 01 Mar 2016 - 12:01 Makkah mean time-21-5-1437 Jeddah, (IINA) - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed strong condemnation of the criminal terrorist attack that targeted innocent civilians in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad on Sunday, resulting in a number of casualties and serious injuries among the civilians. OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani reiterated the OIC’s firm position in condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He also expressed his sincere sympathy and condolences to the Iraqi people and leadership, and particularly to the families of the victims who have lost their lives because of this brutal criminal act. He wished the injured a speedy recovery and prayed that Iraq is spared any future hardships. AG/IINA
