Morocco, Iraq senior officials discuss means to boost bilateral cooperation

Rabat, (IINA) - Abdelilah Benkirane, head of Moroccan government, held talks here on Monday with Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, which focused on the means to boost bilateral cooperation, Morocco World News reported.
The two sides examined the means to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in economic and social areas as well as political coordination, government chief’s department said in a statement.
Talks also focused on the latest developments in Iraq and issues of common interest, the statement added.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss security challenges in the region and stress the need to strengthen international cooperation in this regard.
