Islamabad (IINA) – Pakistani-Indian foreign secretary level talks will be held in the near future and both sides are keeping in touch in this regard, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported quoting the Foreign Office spokesman.
"The meeting is going to be held in the near future and both sides remain in touch in this regard," Qazi Khalilullah told a regular weekly briefing at the Foreign Office on Thursday while responding to a question.
He said that the secretary level talks between the two nuclear-armed neighbors had been slated to start in mid-January, but were rescheduled in view of the terror attack on Pathankot Indian Air Base on January 2, which killed seven Indian soldiers and all six terrorists. Pakistan condemned the terror incident and offered its cooperation to India to probe into the attack.
