Jordan, EU discusses Mideast ties

Brussels, (IINA) - Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Nasser Judeh met with foreign ministers of a number of European Union countries and discussed with them ways to cement ties between them, Petra reported.
Judeh held meetings with the foreign ministers of Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Cyprus and Greece in addition to the French and Portuguese state ministers. The talks touched on a forthcoming London meeting to discuss the Syrian refugee crisis and how to assist countries affected by the crisis.
The minister also met with European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and discussed with him Jordanian-European Union cooperation and facilitating the entry of Jordanian products to EU members.
