ISESCO to hold workshop on ‘Green Economy in Islamic world’ in Rabat

Rabat (IINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will hold here on Thursday a workshop to present a study on the "Green Economy in the Muslim world countries: A Comprehensive Assessment and Analysis of the Moroccan Experience."
The workshop aims to assess the reality of the green economy in the Islamic countries and conduct an in-depth analysis of the Moroccan experience in this domain, besides drawing lessons and guidance through this analysis for circulation to other member states.
During the workshop, a comprehensive study on the green economy in the Muslim countries will be presented and discussed, in addition to the debate on the major classifications and challenges of this economy.
Also among the topics to be discussed in the workshop: A study on the "Green Economy in Morocco" prepared by the Mediterranean Company for Analysis and Strategic Intelligence, commissioned by ISESCO and the Ministry Delegate to the Ministry of Environment in the Moroccan government.
Participants in the workshop comprise officials in the area of green economy, experts, researchers and academics as well as representatives of a number of specialized agencies and civil society organizations interested in this field.
