Gaza (IINA) – Former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Dr Salam Fayyad arrived in Gaza on Wednesday in a rare visit to the besieged enclave.
The International Islamic News Agency (IINA) witnessed that Fayyad, who arrived in the Gaza Strip through Beit Hanoun crossing, was accorded with a rousing welcome by a number of prominent Palestinian figures.
Hamas leader Ahmad Yusuf said earlier in a press statement that Fayyad will present during his visit a series of ideas and lectures to the Palestinian public about the national unity in the light of the continued mass uprising in the West Bank.
