Riyadh, (IINA) - Yemen's Vice President Khalid Bahah has lashed out on Tuesday at the Houthi rebels, saying that their intransigence is derailing peace efforts and is creating obstacles that increase the difficulty of finding a solution to the current situation, SPA reported.
During a meeting with the ambassador of the United States of America to Yemen Mathio Toller, Bahah said that the legitimate government of Yemen is seeking to reach peace and avert more fighting, and that it welcomes any serious consultations that guarantee the implementation the UN Security Council resolution No. 2216.
The government-run Yemeni News Agency said that the two sides discussed the mechanisms of joint work to restore security and stability in all Yemeni cities and provinces.
