Sochi (IINA) – Kuwait and Russia on Tuesday signed a host of bilateral agreements in the Russian city of Sochi, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The signing ceremony was attended by Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
These include an agreement between the two governments on the exemption of entry visa for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports, signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
Also, a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding for cooperation between the two countries in the areas of culture, transport, defense technology and investment as well as oil and gas were signed during the visit of the Amir.
