Israel suspends dialogue with EU over settlement product labeling

Thursday 12 Nov 2015 - 11:00 Makkah mean time-30-1-1437 Tel Aviv (IINA) – The Israeli Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that its diplomats will not participate in a number of planned dialogue sessions with the European Union after Brussels’s decision to allow member states to place consumer labels “Not made in Israel” on products produced in settlements built on the occupied Palestinian territories. "Because of the recent EU decision, Israel is suspending its diplomatic dialogue with the EU in various forums in which it has meetings scheduled in the coming weeks,” the ministry said. AB/IINA
